Moving on

Over the past week, there has been a great deal of moving.

Moving from a new state to another. Moving from camp to a campus. Moving from a tight-knit community to a larger community. Moving from the familiar to something different. Moving on from working to studying. Moving on into my senior year.

So much moving!

Yet, through it all, it has been clear that there is One who remains the same.

My comfort lies in the Eucharist and knowing that I can visit the Blessed Sacrament. It is Him who gives me the comfort and knowledge that I am doing the right thing by coming back to college.

Oh, how I wish that I could have just remained in Wisconsin forever with the community that I have grown to love and the joy that I have found. Yet, Our Lord has shown me that I am meant to be back in Virginia to finish my senior year.

Yes, there is a lot of uncertainty, but I trust that with Him nothing is impossible and He will not leave me.

I miss my home at Camp Gray, but I trust that I am meant to be back at college for a reason.
